There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
- Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Now is the time for all of these things.
It’s time for new, beautiful, alive women to be born, and time for lifeless imitations to die.
It’s time to plant truth and life into their minds, and to uproot all the lies of the devil.
It’s time to kill the spirit that draws broken men to the bars, and to heal the wounds that drive them there.
It’s time to tear down the walls that imprison them, and time to build up an army in their place.
It’s time to weep for innocent who have no choice, and time to laugh in the joy of the freedom that’s coming for them.
It’s time to mourn the depth of the darkness that envelopes these streets, and time to dance in the power of the light that overcomes it.
It’s time to scatter the pieces of who we used to be, and time to gather the pieces of our broken lives and surrender them to the only One who knows how they fit together.
It’s time to embrace who we are in Christ, and time to refrain from listening to the lies that tell us who we should be.
It’s time to search for the will of God, and time to give up our own plans.
It’s time to keep God’s promises close to our hearts, and time to throw away our doubts.
It’s time to tear apart what never should have been together, and time to mend what never should have been broken.
It’s time to be silent and hear God’s voice, and time to speak when He wants to be heard.
It’s time to love deeply and passionately those who don’t understand, and time to hate the sin that confused them.
It’s time for a war against loneliness, bitterness, anger, confusion, depression, worthlessness, neglect, hopelessness, and fear,
and time for the peace of God to rule in our hearts.
