End Of Beauty

About: "But beauty, real beauty, ends where an intellectual expression begins. Intellect is in itself a mode of exaggeration, and destroys the harmony of any face." - Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

Maybe the most beautiful things are the ones no one can express.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why do you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
Matthew 14: 29-33

We are the cause of our own sinking. Take the hand of mercy that reaches out to you, and as the waves get bigger and the wind stronger, remember the faith that first caused you to step out of the boat.
